Wine Tourism

The Sherry Wines region, protected by Denomination of Origin “JEREZ-XERES-SHERRY” and “MANZANILLA DE SANLÚCAR” and known as “Marco del Jerez” is formed by the lands and fields located in the municipal boundaries of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María, Trebujena, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Chipiona, Chiclana de la Frontera and parts of Lebrija.

Within this vast region, the areas of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María, Sanlúcar de Barrameda as well as some fields of Trebujena are known as “Jerez Superior” consisting of vineyards in albariza soils.

The area of lands of mud and sand in the municipal boundaries of Chipiona, Trebujena, Rota, Puerto Real, Chiclana de la Frontera y Lebrija, is known as “Zona”.
